The Columbus Jazz Orchestra shines the light on the great music and artists who mesmerized generations and changed music forever from Elvis and Marvin Gaye to the sounds of Philadelphia and the Motor City.
CJO at the Lincoln: Big Band Bash
Together again, together at last! A comeback celebration with many of the Columbus Jazz Orchestra’s favorite players and favorite hits -- from jazz standards to fresh new versions of classic tunes featuring British-born vocalist Helen Welch.
Joining in the fun are two talented young artists -- both winners of the Hank Marr High School Jazz Award -- drummer Simon Metzger (2020 winner) and guitarist Mason Bryant (2021 winner).

The Columbus Jazz Orchestra concludes the season celebrating the songs of Harold Arlen, Duke Ellington, The Gershwins, Cole Porter and more with veteran vocalist Phil Clark and rising jazz singers Rachel Azbell and Sydney McSweeney in a red, white and blue salute to the Great American Songbook.
Jazz at the Southern: ‘70s Jazz & Pop Hits
Gas lines, Watergate and the breakup of the Beatles. Who can forget the ‘70s? So break out the tie-dye and bellbottoms, the shag and mullet, ‘cause we’re swinging ‘70s Jazz & Pop Hits with the Jazz Arts Group All-Stars and Columbus’ favorite piano man, Dave Powers.
Jazz at the Southern: Speakeasy Hot Jazz
Speakeasy Hot Jazz was cancelled on opening night last season due to COVID, so we’re bringing back the talented young trumpeter/vocalist Tony Glausi and he’s teaming up with the Jazz Arts Group All-Stars, an ensemble featuring some of your favorite CJO players, to explore the era that brought us “The Charleston,” flappers, bootleg liquor, G-Men, and red hot jazz.

The Columbus Jazz Orchestra returns to the stage of the Southern Theatre just in time to swing in the holidays with its annual Home for the Holidays concert featuring veteran Columbus songbird Kelly Crum Delavaris and singer and tap dance great, Leo Manzari. Let’s share some jingle and jazz together this holiday season.
